How about making it obvious how to do something as basic as changing a printer's share name without spending half an hour trying to figure out how to navigate the UPD interface and still failing. Make the UPD interface optional or don't make it available at all. My job is hard enough without having to learn some new inefficient interface. I expect better than this from Samsung. When I "plug and pray" the printer, Vista detects the printer and *automatically* (i.e no chance for me to select the driver on the disk) installs the UPD. THEN the UPD FLATLY REFUSES to allow me to update the driver to the Samsung one on the disk. Just so you know, the UPD does NOT work with the CLP-315. I have NO way of getting this printer to work with my computer. In short, the UPD is more like a virus than a program. The designers have REALLY dropped the ball on this one! I'm returning the Samsung printer and probably getting a HP laser printer. At least I know THOSE will work with my computer. The Samsung “Universal” Print Driver is anything but!
