Samsung has announced a 3.5-inch 1TB Spinpoint F3 HDD that uses two platters instead of the usual three. 500GB on each platter means increase in areal density, faster data access and enhances performance by up to 30 percent. As much as Samsung spends on R&D of phones, it also spends a considerable amount on marketing too. The high profile Jet recently got a viral ad that is fast paced and includes…elephants and UFOs.
