Samsung will be providing set-top boxes to Videotron that will come with video recording and Tru2Way service support. Samsung reckons its set-top boxes coupled with Tru2Way will give consumers a “heightened media experience” with interactive cable services and an added functionality of recording HD video content.
These set-top boxes will be the first Tru2Way devices in Canada and are said to support Videotron’s illico Digital TV service. It will be available soon throughout Videotron’s nationwide retail network.
