Vodafone is now taking pre-orders of Samsung’s Galaxy S Android device and is expected to start retailing from June 15. Interested consumers can pick the device for free on a 2-year contract with monthly plans starting from £35.
Galaxy S runs Android 2.1 and features a 1GHz CPU, 3G, 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen, 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording support, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot (up to 32GB) and Android Market, Samsung Apps support.
