T-Mobile’s Vibrant aka Galaxy S gets official

Samsung Vibrant for T-Mobile

 

UPDATE: T-Mobile is planning to launch it a week early, on July 15.

We knew it was coming and here it is, T-Mobile has made its version of Galaxy S official. Its known as Vibrant and T-Mobile emphasizes on the pre-loaded content in addition to its powerful specs.

The phone packs the same 4-inch Super AMOLED screen, 1GHz CPU, Android 2.1 OS, 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording but comes with pre-loaded applications and games like Sims 3, James Cameron’s Avatar, MobiTV to watch live and on-demand TV, Kindle app, GoGo inflight internet app and Slacker Radio.

T-Mobile will release the Vibrant on July 21 for $199.99 on a 2-year contract whereas RadioShack will start taking pre-orders for the device from July 1.
