Samsung Code for MetroPCS to most likely get a WinMo 6.5 upgrade

July 12, 2010 By kunal Leave a Comment

Samsung Code 6.5

It’s not a 2-year old device but looks like Samsung is attempting to support old Windows Mobile phones. This time it’s the 9-month old Code (I220) for MetroPCS that might soon have a Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade. There’s no official confirmation but MetroPCS’ accessories page lists two Code devices – one as “Code Smartphone” and other one as “Code 6.5 Smartphone.”

Phonearena also says that the current Code’s sales have been “halted indefinitely”, hinting that the update might be just around the corner.
