Samsung: Galaxy S successor due next year

July 30, 2010 By kunal 1 Comment

Galaxy S

It’s vague as it sounds but in a Q2 earnings call today, Samsung was asked about the Galaxy S successor to which, the reply was “next year.”

There were no other details whatsoever except highlighting the fact that good sales and wide availability of Galaxy S is the reason, the subsequent model will have to wait till next year.

Samsung plans to launch Galaxy S in 90 countries with 125 carriers by end of this year.

    Hi Samsung team,
Its very good to see that you are active in all aspects in creating the best mobiles beyond imagination.
The only thing that you are not thinking on is the Bada Application quantity. Though, you are increasing this apps day by day but at a very very slow speed. You need a breakthrough of 30,000 new+ revamped apps which are current available in this mobile world applications every month.
You need to increase the manpower of your Developers.
Hire excellent once around the globe and do it.
If you take this seriously and would be able to create more than 2,00,000 Applications in 6 months from now, then you will be the king in the market.
