Not all patented ideas are realized into a real product but it’s interesting to see Samsung’s vision for the tablet form factor. They have filed a patent for a “Mobile terminal having dual touch screen and method of controlling content therein.”

The basic idea seems that when dual touchscreens are touched, they respond to a similar fashion to a single-screened display but purportedly, offering better ergonomics. The above image depicts a pinching gesture to zoom in an image with one finger on the front screen whereas the other one at the back.

Anyways, if this ever turns out to be a real product, I think this seems more plausible on a transparent display.
