Galaxy S that launched in Japan on NTT DOCOMO outsold iPhone 4 during its launch week. According to a market researcher BCN, Samsung Galaxy S’ demand surpassed Apple’s 32GB iPhone 4 for the last week of October.

Although a small milestone, the success is important considering Galaxy S was launched in the middle of the week and managing to topple iPhone that has ruled the charts for the last 18 weeks since its release in June.
