Samsung 830 Series SSD launched in South Korea

After launching the 470 Series SSDs in South Korea, Samsung is treating its home market with a better, faster SSD. Samsung has announced the 830 Series SSD for South Korea which is said to be 2.5 times faster than the predecessor.

Clad in a brushed metal shell, the 830 Series SSD supports 6Gb/s SATA interface and boasts a sequential writing speed of 400MB/s and reading speed of 520MB/s.

Samsung will also sell the 830 Series along with an upgrade kit that consists of Norton Ghost 15.0 and necessary cables for an easy upgradation.
