Samsung adopted a single design for its Galaxy S III internationally (I9300) and in the United States. However, major difference between these variants is the choice of processor and RAM, which is quad-core Exynos CPU and 1GB RAM in case of the international variant and a dual-core Snapdragon S4 chip and 2GB RAM in US variants.
