Samsung at an event today, announced the Galaxy Note 4 for the Indian market. The phone will go on sale on October 17 and will go head to head with Apple’s iPhone 6 series that also goes on sale in India on the same day.
Galaxy Note 4 will sell for Rs. 58,300 (MRP is Rs. 61,500) and though it seems to be on the higher side, Samsung will launch the device with Snapdragon 805 SoC, the second flagship device to launch with Qualcomm’s SoC in India after the Galaxy S5 4G.
As for the rest of the specs, it has a 3GB RAM, 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) Super AMOLED display, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac, 32GB internal memory with microSD card slot, 3220mAh battery with Fast Charging, bunch of sensors like proximity, barometer, hall sensor, Finger Scanner, UV, Heart Rate Monitoring, a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera with Smart Optical Image Stabilizer and a 3.7 megapixel front-facing camera with f1.9 along with an option for wide 120 degree selfie.
The phone also features improved S Pen input with pressure sensitivity, Air Command and Smart Select.
Vodafone users will also get 2GB of data free for two months or 1GB per month if you already use a data pack.
