Sprint has expanded its Sprint ID packs to Samsung’s Galaxy S phone, Epic 4G and Galaxy Tab. With Sprint IDs users can download various packs consisting of apps, widgets, ringtones, wallpapers etc that are customized to user’s interests.
Sprint ID is enabled via an over-the-air software update – EB28 for Galaxy Tab and EC05 (Android 2.2) for Epic 4G and is expected to reach every user by March 24.
Additionally, Sprint announced a software update for Transform (SPH-M920) The EB28 update will update the Tranform phone from Android 2.1 to Android 2.2 (Froyo). There are few fixes along with the usual Froyo goodness like the Hotspot feature, ability to install apps on memory card, improved performance and more. One thing to note here is the support Adobe Flash 10.1 is not included.
