Samsung is suddenly bombarding the Indian market with low-end phones. The newest entrants are CorbyTXT and Corby Mate both targeted at those looking for cheap messaging devices. While the unusual looking Corby Mate was found lurking the Indian Samsung Mobile site for quite some time, TXT adopts a familiar candybar design.

The CorbyTXT (B3210) features a 2.2-inch QCIF display, 2MP camera, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio and microSD card slot.

Mate on the other hand, has a 2-inch display, 2MP camera, Bluetooth, FM Radio and microSD card slot.

The CorbyTXT and Corby Mate will sell for Rs. 7,900 and Rs. 7,300 respectively.

Samsung B3310 is not retailing yet but the product page listed on Samsung Mobile’s website reveals the quirky QWERTY slider phone will be sold as Corby Mate in India.

The phone will presumably priced a little higher than the original Corby and feature a 2-inch display, quad-band GSM support, 2MP camera, video recorder, FM Radio, Bluetooth, microSD card slot and 40MB internal memory. The phone also comes with instant access to various social networks and IM functions.

Part of Carphone Warehouse, Mobiles.co.uk has spilled the beans on an upcoming Samsung messaging and social networking phone. The entry-level B3310 will come in trendy colors and unique design so as to appeal to its target market, which is the youth. On the features front, the phone features a horizontal sliding QWERTY keyboard with smartly placed numbers that looks like to be the top row of the keyboard when open, 2.1-inches screen (176×220), 2MP camera, FM Radio, Bluetooth, 40MB internal memory with microSD slot for memory expansion, music player, e-mail and one-click access to social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace, Flickr etc.

The phone’s price is not known but it will arrive in mid-September.
