A new device’s existence recently came to light with the certifications from the Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance and even the FCC. And though not many details are out, a new rumor is swirling that this phone will be an Android device. More interestingly, it will be an Android from the Corby family, which means youthful color options and cheaper price tag.

The confirmed specs for now are Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11n whereas the rumored ones are Android 2.1 OS, GPS, 3G, touchscreen display and at least 3MP camera. All this is expected in around 200 Euros ($250).

This is a rumor for now but if turns out to be true, Samsung Galaxy Spica’s successor, GT-I5801 might have a problem selling since both these phones are similarly spec’d but I5500 will apparently have a cheaper price.
