A new video has surfaced on the web showing an unknown Samsung device. The device described as “Convergence Multimedia Phone” (SMT-i9000) was on display at CommunicAsia and it seems like a PMP-Phone combo.

The device has a 7-inch touchscreen display, video telephony, a browser, Wi-Fi, Allshare (DLNA), Bluetooth, SD card slot, USB, speakerphone, video/music/photo player and even support for YouTube, Flickr and RSS reader.

Samsung has announced a new digital photo frame that is integrated with a cordless phone. The SP-M100 frame comes with a 7-inch touchscreen LCD screen that not only shows pictures but also allows users to call their favorite contacts by touching their image on the screen.

Additionally, it has a music player, 2GB internal memory and USB as well as SD card slot to expand memory.

The SP-M100 will be available in white and black for 289,000 won ($240). Samsung will also sell extra handsets (SP-M100HWH) for 91,000 won ($76).

First seen at the IFA this year, Samsung’s 8-inch Digital Photo Frame has gone official in its home market. Samsung claims the 8-inch frame dubbed as 800P has a swan-like design and is a step forward in terms of design and features.

The frame features a LED screen, simple UI, support for pictures, music, video, 2GB internal memory and comes with a remote control. The 800P also integrates Bluetooth 2.0 so that a user can directly transfer content from his Bluetooth-enabled device to the picture frame or pair a Bluetooth headset to listen to audio.

Samsung will bring a 10-inch variant soon but for the time being, this model sells for 199,000 Korean won (US$171).

Samsung will bring in a fleet of products at IFA that starts from next week and it will also include a new line of digital frames. The P-Series digital picture frame is said to evolve from the current generation of picture frames in terms of design and features. The frame bezel and the stand have been given a premium look and if our guess is correct, the stand will allow the frame to tilt.

The frame features a LED display, 2GB internal memory, Bluetooth 2.0 where users can transfer pictures, videos and music to the frame, slideshow, auto-off, remote control, clock and calendar. The digital frame can be turned into a clock if you don’t want to display pictures.

Announced last month in South Korea, Samsung’s 8-inch SPF-87H digital photo frame has made its way to the US market. For $129, the digital frame packs decent features. It comes with its proprietary Touch of Color (ToC) finish, 1GB internal and SD slot for additional memory and can be doubled up as a secondary monitor. The 8-inch screen offers a resolution of 800×480 pixels and 500:1 contrast ratio. It is now available with Fry’s Electronics and on Amazon.com.

Samsung has announced SPF-87H, an 8-inch digital photo frame. Destined to launch in Korea next week for 145,000 Won ($110) and followed by other regions, the frame has almost the same set of features when you compare it other digital frames in the market. Agreed, it has Samsung’s proprietary Touch of Color design and attractive packaging but that’s about it.

The 23mm thick frame features a screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, 1GB internal memory, USB slot to charge the frame or make it work as a secondary monitor, an adapter so you could even charge it without a PC, Auto On/Off, slideshow and clock.

Samsung is planning to launch a full lineup of digital frames with the next frame, a 10-incher SPF-107H, tipped to come in May.
