Samsung is still trying to push a year old SGH-F480 phone. They have announced a special Games Edition F480 phone that will be preinstalled with five full version games. The games include Pacman, Who wants to be a millionaire 2009, Millennium Poker, Dr. Brain and Bejeweled Twist. The innards however, remain the same as before – 5MP camera, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, TouchWiz UI, microSD card slot etc.

I know with such unattractive games, they won’t find many takers and that is why it will be available in limited numbers. Price is 399 Euros.

Big Sammy has announced a touchscreen phone which directly takes a shot against LG’s much touted Viewty. Known as the TouchWiz or in technical parlance as the SGH-F480, the phone has a screen tad smaller than Viewty but definitely looks more appealing than its counterpart. The Wiz has also got a mammoth 5 megapixel camera with AF, Image Stabilizer, Face Detection, Smile Shot etc. Other features include HSDPA, music player, 232MB internal memory plus microSD support up to 8GB, Bluetooth, Moblogging, PictBridge and a decent battery life of up to 3 hours.
