The Yu-Na Haptic device that was launched early this year has crossed an important milestone of selling more than a million units. The achievement came in under 7 months of its launch, making it the fastest selling phone for Samsung in the home market.

Yu-Na Haptic features a 3-inch touchscreen display, DMB, 3MP camera, Bluetooth, microSD card slot and video/music on demand.

Samsung has launched the Korean version of Jet with two new colors. Known as Haptic AMOLED (W850/W8500/W8550) the phone is now available in White and Pink hues with the battery cover having a Chess Wave design pattern.

The Korean Jet is somewhat different to the Jet available in the rest of the markets. It boasts a 3.5-inch display as compared to 3.1-inch found in Jet and also has T-DMB. Rest of the features are same.

Samsung is offering a limited edition SCH-W770 Haptic phone for all the Kim Yu-Na fans. The phone will contain Yu-Na UI, ringtones and wallpapers of the figure skater.

The first 50,000 customers buying this phone will also get a specially designed battery cover that signifies Yu-Na’s sport showcasing Yu-Na’s silhouette, the spiral sequences, design patterns etc. The battery cover will be made available according to the color of the phone, which is available in white, black and pink.

Samsung has got another Haptic phone to the fray dubbed as Haptic 8M or SCH-W740. The phone boasts an 8 megapixel sensor and totally revolves around its photographic features. To start with, it has Face Tagging that registers faces and has the ability to call or SMS the tagged persons right from the image. Other photography centric features include Xenon flash, autofocus, smile shot, business card recognition and automatic scene mode.

Moving from photography, it also has T-DMB, HSUPA (up to 5.76Mbps), Bluetooth 2.0, e-dictionary, microSD slot, etc. The phone is priced at KRW 900,000 (US$651).
