Sprint is now selling Instinct’s smaller, better version for $129.99 after fulfilling all the customary obligations like mail-in rebates and signing up with a 2 year contract.

The phone comes with two color options – Cobalt Metal and Touch of Copper and packs 3.2-inch touchscreen display with TouchWiz UI, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, 2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot and slew of Sprint enabled services.

Samsung USA has given the official nod to Instinct S30 phone. Just like its predecessor, this will be Sprint exclusive and will retail for $130 after a 2 year contract and $100 mail-in rebate.

The Instinct S30 has a 3.2-inch touchscreen supporting TouchWiz UI and haptic feedback, Opera 4.2 browser, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, 2 megapixel camera, microSD card support and EVDO for data.

For the developers, the phone is more open than the original Instinct with access to core APIs for camera, messaging, Bluetooth and contacts.

Samsung today announced its phone lineup to be showcased at the CTIA. Its booth has a Touch for Every Lifestyle theme, clearly emphasizing on touchscreen based phones. Amongst the phones, Samsung plans to display the UltraTouch series, Impression, Memoir, Behold, Eternity, Omnia, Blue Earth and the Instinct S30.

The only thing we know for now is that Instinct’s follow up, the Intinct S30 sports a 3.2-inch screen along with a luxurious design. Rest of the details will mostly be revealed at the showfloor tomorrow.

It looks like Samsung and Sprint are almost ready with the Instinct successor. It is smaller than the original Instinct and was christened as Instinct Mini but if we go by the new info, it will be known just as S30. The features are still unconfirmed but we can expect it to have the new 3D TouchWiz UI, an upped camera and host of other features carried over from its predecessor.
