Samsung’s to be announced phone has been official outed as the Moment. It’s not confirmed but given the phone’s description, it should be the long rumored InstinctQ. Running Android along with fleet of Google services, Moment is the first Sprint phone to sport a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen. Other features include a sliding QWERTY keyboard, EVDO Rev. A, 800MHz CPU, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.2MP camera, Bluetooth and microSD card slot up to 32GB.

After a month of rumors and leaks, Sprint has officially announced Instinct HD. For a pricey ask of $249.99, the phone brings high-definition for real with video recording on its 5MP camera and TV-out supporting HD output. Amongst other features, the phone integrates EVDO Rev. A, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, Opera 9.7 browser, GPS, Visual Voicemail and comes loaded with Sprint services like Sprint TV and more.

The phone will start selling nationwide from September 27 at Best Buy while Sprint stores including web will start selling it from October 11.

We’ve got more than one confirmation about Instinct HD but none went into detail as this report emerged at Phone Dog. According to the info acquired by them, Instinct HD will be launched on Sep 26 with stores getting it from Sep 27 and will sell in between $99-149. Since the lower spec’d Instinct S30 currently sells for $99, Instinct HD’s $99 price point seems highly unlikely. $129-149 looks more realistic.

The HD tag associated with the phone is still speculative as the description says “record and play videos in Hi-Res” but the reporter reckons it will record at 720p. Other features rounding up the phone are a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen display, accelerometer, Wi-Fi, 5MP camera with LED flash and TV-out.

Sure, we’ve seen Instinct HD couple of times before but this is the first time we’re hearing it from Sprint. Sprint confirmed the Instinct HD coming soon in a newsletter sent to its premier customers. Though the ‘HD factor’ and other details are still held tightly to their chests, the newsletter does confirm the phone has a 3.2-inch touchscreen, visual voicemail and 5MP camera.

The last Instinct model to be launched was S30 that featured a 3.2-inch screen, 2MP camera, GPS, EVDO and Bluetooth. Sprint is also tipped to launch an Android variant of Instinct with a physical QWERTY keypad.

Best Buy spilled the details on Samsung’s Instinct HD for Sprint and now Phone Arena’s tipster sent them few pictures of the phone. The phone doesn’t seem to change much on the UI front but the aesthetically, Instinct HD looks nice. Unfortunately, the UI images do not show the video recording proof. Last week, Best Buy spilled some info on Sprint’s upcoming phone in the Instinct line. The phone which we believed to know as M850/Dash/Instinct S50 will actually be called the Instinct HD. Though we’re not sure if the phone will be able to record hi-def video just like its another HD sibling but it does seem to have a HDTV-out connection that can display content shot via the phone’s 5MP camera. Amongst other things, the phone has Wi-Fi, Visual Voicemail, Bluetooth and instant access to social networking sites.

It will be available exclusively at Best Buy and is expected to launch in September.

We’ve talked about the InstinctQ (SPH-M900) quite a few times before but it’s the first time we’re seeing it. The first rumor that sprung up along with the Wi-Fi certification is confirmed now – this phone is powered by Android. Interestingly, it also has a four-row physical QWERTY keyboard, making it the first Instinct phone and second Android phone to possess it. The specs are still hard to come by but we’ll take aid of our source who had claimed some features like 3MP camera, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and PTT. The rumored release of this phone is in November.

We already know Samsung is working on a new model in its Instinct line. Now, as per Phone Arena’s source, it might be ready for primetime. The source who happened to visit Sprint’s training session claims that the Instinct S50 will be launched in mid-September.

In addition to this, he also chimed in to give another Instinct phone’s tentative release date. Supposedly Android based, SPH-M900 or InstinctQ will make its official entry in November.

After being blessed by the FCC recently, a live picture of Samsung’s SPH-M850 has been uncovered. The phone which will presumably be known as the Dash or Instinct S50, will be the new model in the Instinct series to arrive on Sprint. Compared to the previous S30 model, the newer one looks a bit wider and smaller.

On the technical features front, the phone boasts a touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and full browsing capability.

The availability date is not known but the latest rumor claims a Sep 3 release.

Ok, so an e-mail was patiently waiting in my inbox claiming to have some details on the recently certified SPH-M900. I have no idea if it’s true or not but these things somehow seem obvious. And no, he did not say anything about the OS.
