Samsung announced that its special edition Series 9 notebooks are now available in South Korea. First unveiled in September, the sleek Series 9 notebooks come in two variants – Moonlight Blue and Rose Gold and boasts a crystal design pattern on the notebook lid.

Samsung says only 300 units will be sold in South Korea and will be numbered at the bottom of the notebook. Buyers will also get a J. Estina necklace as a gift.

It will sell for 2.9m won (US$2507).

Samsung has announced a special edition of its svelte and durable Series 9 notebook. The new edition will keep the same hardware but will come in two luxurious looking colors — Moonlight Blue and Rose Gold. There’s also a crystal design pattern on the notebook lid for added effect.

No word on the price but expect to pay some premium over the regular Series 9.

Samsung is the sponsor of Chelsea Football team and for the Chelsea fans in South Korea, Samsung has announced a limited edition Galaxy Player 70 PMP. Priced at 399,000 won, the 5-inch player boasts the same features internally but is bundled with an original Chelsea FC Home T-shirt and comes with the Chelsea logo at the back of the player.

Only 100 units will be up for sale.

Samsung selling phones to football fans is not new. This time they’re targeting German fans with their limited edition FC Bayern Munich Wave phone (S8500). The limited edition comes with the same Wave device but differentiates itself with different packaging, pre-installed FC Bayern Munich app, a 65 euros voucher to shop from the club’s official online shop and free three months of LIGA! Mobile TV and FCB.tv service.

The phone will start selling in late December in Germany from 429 euros.

Samsung has launched a limited edition of its fastest selling touch phone in Belgium. The Star Think-Pink limited edition will be available from October 1 and has been created to support Think-Pink, an organization that spreads awareness against breast cancer. Every limited edition phone bears a cancer ribbon at the back and for every phone sold, Samsung will donate €10.

As for the internal features, it is still the same like a 3-inch touchscreen display, TouchWiz UI, EDGE connectivity, 3.2MP camera with face and smile detection, accelerometer, microSD card slot, Gesture lock, Bluetooth and more.

Think-Pink limited edition will sell for €149 and will be available till end of December.

Samsung will be co-branding its P3 PMP with its Renault Samsung SM3 sedan, destined to come out on July 13. The P3 SM3 Special Edition PMP will do Bluetooth streaming to the car’s audio player which can be controlled with the on-steering playback controls. It will also have a specialized SM3 image and video album on the PMP along with a SM3 racing game, vehicle inspection chart and information about Renault Samsung service stations.

Apart from the aforementioned features, the special edition PMP is the same with a 3-inch touchscreen, DNSe 3.0, haptic feedback, loudspeaker, mic and wide array of multimedia format support.

Samsung has decided to please today’s kids with an iconic cartoon character from the 1930s. They have launched a Betty Boop phone via Bouygues Télécom that has Betty all over it…literally. The phone features Betty Boop on the front as well as the back of the phone and comes with a Betty pouch and other related features.

The technical features however, are nothing extraordinary as it comes with GSM/EDGE connectivity, music player, 65k color screen, FM Radio, VGA cam and microSD card expansion. Of course, this is actually more than enough if you’re going to gift it to your child.

The phone retails for 129 Euros but a 2-year contract with the carrier will cost just 1 Euro.
