Mac Kies beta now supports Galaxy Tab 10.1

Samsung has released a new version of Kies for Mac that supports Galaxy Tab 10.1. The new version ver.1.0.0.11062_33 can be downloaded off Galaxy Tab 10.1’s support page or from the direct download link below.

Kies for Mac is in beta stages and supports few devices like Galaxy S II, Galaxy Tab (7-inch). The Mac beta version also does not come with firmware-related features, which means you’ll not be able to upgrade your device’s firmware. At least for now.

Samsung Kies for Mac beta arrives

Samsung has released a Mac version of Kies management software that is used for its phones. The software is in beta so don’t expect it to be all hunky-dory. The number of devices supported also seems to be limited for now, which includes Galaxy S II, Galaxy Tab.

Sync your Samsung device with Mac OS X via FoneSync

Germany-based Nova Media has released FoneSync software that helps to sync your Samsung phone with Mac OS X. FoneSync gives an easy to use interface that will allow users to sync contacts and calendar entries from their latest Samsung device to Mac’s Leopard or Snow Leopard OS.

FoneSync currently supports models like M8800 Pixon, M8910, S5230, S5600, S7220, S7350, S8000 and S8300 and goes for Euro 19.90 in Europe while Americans and Canadians can snag it for US$19.95.
