Sammy along with Mnet have launched YP-P3 Memories Special Edition that bundles 500 songs from that era spanning across variety of genres.

Samsung has also tweaked the UI a bit to accommodate larger icons, karaoke support and songs categorized so that a user can play it according to his mood.

YP-P3 will come in 8GB storage in Black and Pink colors. It will be released in November for 279,000 Won (US$232).

Samsung has already put YP-R1’s UI demo on video and now it’s time for Tegra enabled YP-M1 to shows its slick interface. Samsung will be co-branding its P3 PMP with its Renault Samsung SM3 sedan, destined to come out on July 13. The P3 SM3 Special Edition PMP will do Bluetooth streaming to the car’s audio player which can be controlled with the on-steering playback controls. It will also have a specialized SM3 image and video album on the PMP along with a SM3 racing game, vehicle inspection chart and information about Renault Samsung service stations.

Apart from the aforementioned features, the special edition PMP is the same with a 3-inch touchscreen, DNSe 3.0, haptic feedback, loudspeaker, mic and wide array of multimedia format support.

Samsung has launched the P3 PMP in India. The PMP has a wide 3-inch touchscreen, EmoTure touch interface with true haptic feedback, DNSe 3.0 and wide array of multimedia format support. The player also has a loudspeaker, mic and Bluetooth to connect wirelessly to a phone and receive calls on it.

P3 will come in two variants – 8GB and 16GB and is priced at Rs. 11,900 and Rs. 14,900 respectively.

YP-P3 PMP from Samsung could be easily termed as an iPod Touch’s competitor, but in reality it isn’t. Yes, it does offer a 3-inch wide touchscreen display but there’s a lot more to Sammy’s offering. The integrated EmoTure touch interface ensures every command gesture, from swiping a finger across the screen, to switching audio tracks will make P3 react with a variety of physical sensations for a more intimate user experience.
