<p>Samsung has put a release date to its latest Galaxy Tab device for the Russian market. Samsung has started taking pre-orders for Galaxy Tab 7.7 on their website and will ship the tablet on February 2 to pre-ordered customers. Regular customers will be able to buy it from Samsung’s flagship store in Moscow from February 4 at a price of 29,990 rubles for 16GB and 34,990 rubles for 64GB, which will be sold at a later date.</p>
<p>If you’re unaware, Galaxy Tab 7.7 is Samsung’s first tablet to come with a Super AMOLED Plus display with resolution support of 1280&#215;800 pixels. It runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS with TouchWiz UI and comes with 1.4GHz dual-core processor, a shiny metallic back, HSPA+ support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3MP and 2MP rear and front-facing cameras, A-GPS and 5100mAh battery. </p>

<p>While Americans wait for their Galaxy Nexus variant, Russians can mark their calendars for December 23 to buy the first Android 4.0 phone. Samsung Russia will sell the Galaxy Nexus from the aforementioned date for a price of 29,990 rubles for 16GB capacity. Users who pre-order from Samsung Russia’s site will get the device two days early i.e. December 21.</p>
<p>Galaxy Nexus specs remain unchanged with HSPA+ support, dual core 1.2GHz processor, 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display (1280&#215;720), 5MP main camera and 1.3MP front-facing camera, full HD playback and recording support, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and 1750mAh battery.</p>

<p>Samsung has fixed the availability and the pricing of its latest bada 2.0-running phones for Russia. The flagship Wave 3 will be available in Russia from November whereas Wave M and Wave Y will start selling by end of this year.</p>
<p>All phones are pre-loaded with Yandex services allowing users to use Yandex Maps, Mail etc. and runs bada 2.0 OS that brings in some new features like multitasking, Wi-Fi Direct support, Social Hub, Music Hub and ChatON messaging service.</p>
<p>On the hardware front, Wave 3 comes with a 1.4GHz processor, 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 5MP camera, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 14.4Mbps HSDPA and 1500mAh battery. </p>
<p>Wave M features 7.2Mbps HSDPA support, 3.65-inch HVGA display, 5MP camera, NFC (optional), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 1350mAh battery.</p>
<p>Wave Y is the cheapest of the lot that comes with 3.2-inch HVGA display, 2MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 1200mAh battery.</p>
<p>Wave 3 will be an MTS exclusive for 16,990 rubles whereas Wave M and Wave Y will be available via Euroset for 9,990 rubles and 6,490 rubles respectively. Expect the phones in early 2012 without the exclusivity.</p>

<p>Samsung has announced the new 3 Series notebooks for the Russian market. The new series boasts a selection of colors and attractive looks which Samsung believes will attract young consumers, including students.</p>
<p>The 3 Series features different SKUs varying from 13.3-inches to 15.6-inches and also offers options of either going with an Intel Core processor or AMD. Going with Intel, a user will get an option to choose from Core i3/i5/i7 and RAM up to 6GB. Additionally, the notebooks will have HDD storage up to 750GB, 720p display, integrated graphics or Nvidia GeForceGT520 and a 6-cell battery.</p>
<p>The AMD-powered Series 3 comes in 15.6-inch only and offers a choice of either AMD dual-core A4-3310MX or quad-core A6-3410MX. Other things include 4GB RAM, up to 640GB HDD, AMD Radeon HD6630M GPU and 6-cell battery.</p>
<p>Connectivity options like Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, VGA/HDMI/USB/Ethernet are also present.</p>
<p>Series 3 notebooks will be available from early July for a starting price of 18,000 rubles.</p>

<p>After <a href="http://www.samsunghub.com/2011/05/13/samsung-showcases-nc215s-solar-netbook-for-africa/" target="_blank">announcing</a> the NC215S solar netbook for the African market, Samsung has announced the 10-inch netbook in Russia. The back of the notebook lid is covered with the solar panel that gives an hour of battery life after charging for two in the sun. Additionally, the netbook is equipped with PowerPlus battery technology that allows the 6-cell battery to give about 14 hours of battery life on a full charge.</p>
<p>As for other features, the netbook comes with Intel’s Atom N570 or N455 processors, 10.1-inch (1024&#215;600) Superbright LED screen with anti-reflective coating, 1GB RAM, integrated Intel graphics, USB port with sleep-and-charge function, webcam, SD card slot and Ethernet jack.</p>
<p>The NC215S is expected to arrive in August carrying a price tag of 13,999 rubles.</p>

<p>Samsung’s Galaxy S II has reached or is on the way to few more countries. The powerpacked 1.2GHz phone is now available in Germany for an asking price of 649 euros. The phone expectedly, remains unchanged with 4.27-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, Android 2.3.3 OS, TouchWiz 4.0 UI, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 3.0, expandable memory, GPS and more.</p>
<p>As far as Russians are concerned, the Galaxy S II will be available from tomorrow in select stores in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Nation-wide sales will begin from May 19. The 16GB Galaxy S II will be available for 31,900 rubles whereas the 32GB version will cost 34,900 rubles.</p>
<p>Samsung Italy is currently taking <a href="http://www.samsungmobilestore.it/SamsungGalaxySII.aspx" target="_blank">pre-orders</a> of the device, which is slated to launch on May 25. The phone is priced at 599 euros.</p>
<p>Finally, Samsung announced the phone for the Taiwanese market that will be open for pre-order from June 1.</p>

<p>Finally, the C3322 adds popular audio and video codecs support and features a 2.2-inch screen, 2MP camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth and microSD card slot. C3322 is priced 3,990 rubles.</p>
<p>All the phones will be available in May.</p>

<p>Galaxy S Plus that was <a href="http://www.samsunghub.com/2011/03/30/samsung-to-out-galaxy-s-plus-variant-with-android-2-3-1-4ghz-cpu/" target="_blank">confirmed</a> by Samsung Russia has now been announced as the Galaxy S 2011 Edition. Design-wise, the new Galaxy S is similar to the original one but its the hardware and software that matters. The 2011 Edition is pre-installed with Android 2.3 OS and comes with a 1.4GHz CPU, 14.4Mbps HSPA+ and higher capacity 1650mAh battery.</p>
<p>As for other features, you&#8217;d find a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display, 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording, 512MB RAM, 2GB ROM, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS.</p>
<p>It will arrive in May for 21,990 rubles.</p>
<p>UPDATE: Apparently, Samsung Singapore <a href="http://www.facebook.com/SamsungMobileSingapore/posts/198276353543878" target="_blank">won&#8217;t launch</a> the Galaxy S 2011 Edition.</p>

<p>We already have a Galaxy S variant in the form of Galaxy SL – a Super LCD version with 1GHz OMAP processor. Now the word comes from <em>Samsung Russia’s</em> <a href="http://community.livejournal.com/ru_samsung/421963.html" target="_blank">Livejournal blog</a> that the Korean giant will launch a Galaxy S Plus version (I9001), which will be superior than the original Galaxy S.</p>
<p>The Galaxy S Plus will bear the same design except for the metallic back cover and will come with Android 2.3 pre-loaded, a  faster 1.4GHz CPU, 4-inch Super AMOLED display, HD video support, 8GB internal memory and 1650mAh battery.</p>
<p>The phone is expected in April-end in Russia for a price of around 23,990 rubles (US$842).</p>
