<p>We already <a href="http://www.samsunghub.com/2009/07/13/samsung-prepping-w8300-for-ktf/" target="_blank">told</a> you about SPH-W8300 for KT last month and now it looks like it’s <a href="http://www.samsung.com/sec/consumer/detail/detail.do?group=mobilephone&#038;type=mobilephone&#038;subtype=kt&#038;model_cd=SPH-W8300CIKF" target="_blank">ready</a> for primetime. True to the description, the phone is slim at 13.4mm and illuminative with the help of the external round screen. It also has a button on the hinge that automatically opens up the clamshell.</p>
<p>As far as other features are concerned, the phone supports HSDPA, has a 2.6-inch 262K LCD internal screen (240&#215;320), 2MP camera, Video/Music on Demand, Subway Maps, SOS function, Bluetooth, games, microSD card and a talk/standby time of up to 5/390 hours.</p>
<p>The phone will be marketed as <a href="http://www.samsung.com/sec/consumer/detail/detail.do?group=mobilephone&#038;type=mobilephone&#038;subtype=skt&#038;model_cd=SCH-W830CI" target="_blank">SCH-W830</a> for SKT and <a href="http://www.samsung.com/sec/consumer/detail/detail.do?group=mobilephone&#038;type=mobilephone&#038;subtype=lgt&#038;model_cd=SPH-W8350HB" target="_blank">SPH-W8350</a> for LGT.</p>

<p>This information is just in. The Bluetooth SIG has added a new Samsung phone to its directory. The addition is SPH-W8300 that will be KTF bound and needless to say, will be restricted to South Korea only. The listing has not revealed the full specs but says that it’s a “slim &#038; illumination folder,” hinting that it will be a slim clamshell device. Other things the listing claims is the 3.6Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth (obviously!) and 2.6(-inch) which we presume will be the screen size.</p>
<p>We hope to see the phone in the coming weeks.</p>
