South Koreans get ready for another 8MP phone heading your way. Samsung has announced UltraHaptic touchscreen slider phone that will be sold via SK Telecom. The phone has a 2.8-inch AMOLED touchscreen, 8MP camera, TouchWiz UI, Korean customary T-DMB, proximity sensor, memory expansion slot and much more.

The Korean variant also gets a couple of more color options like Black and Golden with White. It will be sold at 800,000 Won ($640).

Announced a couple of weeks back in India, we finally managed to lay our hands on this 8MP beauty. Known as Tocco, S8300 UltraTouch or just UltraTouch, the phone looks classy in its brushed aluminum finish on the front. Though the phone is on the heavier side, the hold and feel is quite nice and solid.

A bummer or shall we say, a limitation is that you need to slide up the phone to take photos, which kinda makes the dedicated camera key useless. Anyways, we spent a bit of time with the phone and would like to spend more and know if its worthy for a Rs. 27,500 price tag.

Samsung S8300 that was unveiled at MWC in February has got its official call for India as just Ultra^TOUCH. It becomes the third 8 megapixel phone from Samsung for the Indian market after INNOV8 and Pixon.

The features include a nice 2.8-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 3D TouchWiz UI, GPS, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth, FM Radio, music player and a microSD card slot.

The Ultra^TOUCH phone will sell for Rs. 27,500 (US$543).

Samsung today announced its phone lineup to be showcased at the CTIA. Its booth has a Touch for Every Lifestyle theme, clearly emphasizing on touchscreen based phones. Amongst the phones, Samsung plans to display the UltraTouch series, Impression, Memoir, Behold, Eternity, Omnia, Blue Earth and the Instinct S30.

The only thing we know for now is that Instinct’s follow up, the Intinct S30 sports a 3.2-inch screen along with a luxurious design. Rest of the details will mostly be revealed at the showfloor tomorrow.

Americans craving for Samsung’s latest touchscreen slider can now buy it from Amazon. The phone goes for $500 without any US warranty and if you’re thinking to take the plunge, better hurry because only 5 units are up for grabs.

The 8MP S8300 which we saw last year has finally got official. The slider phone hails from the UltraTOUCH series and will debut at the MWC next week. It has a 2.8-inch AMOLED anti-scratch touch screen, 8MP shooter with dual LED flash, TouchWiz UI, GPS, geotagging, HSDPA, Bluetooth with A2DP, wide range of video support, music player, FM Radio and a microSD slot (max. 16GB).
