Samsung unveiled a lot of products today at the CES, including the latest non-3G version of Galaxy Tab. Needless to say, the Wi-Fi only Galaxy Tab will lower the price of the Android 2.2 tablet but Samsung hasn’t confirmed the price yet. As for the availability, the US release is slated sometime in Q1 2011.

The lack of 3G connectivity is the only missing thing as it still has other Galaxy Tab features like 7-inch WSVGA screen, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 3.2MP rear camera, 1.3MP front facing camera, DLNA, 4000mAh battery and more.

Looks like Samsung has heard our pleas for a lower-priced Galaxy Tab. A leaked document published by Pocketables reveals that Samsung will release a cheaper Wi-Fi-only version of the Galaxy Tab. The flyer does not mention the price of the Wi-Fi Tab but we can safely assume that the $499.99 price tag will be applicable to this model since Wi-Fi-only iPad also goes for the same price.

Other features remain the same except the removal of 3G and a new silver color.

Hopefully, it will be released in other regions as well.

Remember Samsung’s refrigerator gaining a Wi-Fi certificate? Well, it has got its due today as it was unveiled in South Korea. The Zipel e-diary targets the affluent South Korean crowd with lots of features usually not found in a conventional high-end refrigerator.

It features a 10-inch touchscreen display, Wi-Fi and is compatible with DLNA devices. Samsung says the screen can be used to take notes, has Google Calendar support, can show current weather conditions, shows more than 500 different kinds of food with their nutritional content and news from the internet.

The refrigerator also doubles up as a digital frame as it can wirelessly show images on the door’s LCD or uses a memory card to display them.

The Zipel e-diary will come in “chic, sophisticated cream white pattern” carrying a price tag of 2.49 million won (US$2170).

Additionally, Samsung also announced a luxurious refrigerator designed by Italian jewelry designer, Massimo Zucchi. The fridge has been created with a special theme of water and ice so as to depict the freshness of the food in the refrigerator. It will be sold for 2.99 million won (US$2600).
