<p>There’s a fair chance that you must have upgraded your phone to some other device but if you’re still using Samsung’s Epix WinMo smartphone, you’ll be happy to hear that Samsung is still supporting the device. Samsung has released a new firmware update for the device. The update was released last week and upgrades the phone OS from WinMo 6.1 to WinMo 6.5.</p>
<p>AT&#038;T has stopped selling the phone (at least on the website) so it’s somewhat surprising to see Samsung support a 2-year old device.</p>

<p>Samsung’s Omnia II variants for South Korea are about to get a WinMo 6.5 update soon. According to <a href="http://www.yonhapnews.co.kr/economy/2010/02/22/0303000000AKR20100222202100017.HTML" target="_blank"><em>Yonhapnews</em></a>, T*Omnia II and SHOW Omnia meant for SKT and KT respectively will get the free upgrade this month and will be at par with OZ Omnia that is already selling with WinMo 6.5.</p>
<p>To regurgitate, these Omnias feature 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display (800×480), 800MHz CPU speed, 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, large internal memory and external memory up to 16GB. Additionally, the SHOW Omnia supports 3G WCDMA, Wi-Fi and WiBro connectivity.</p>
