Samsung has remained bullish not only on its Galaxy Tab device but also on the tablet market as a whole. However, analyst Ashok Kumar from Rodman & Renshaw is on the opposite end, who in his research note says that tablet market will suffer in sales due to consumers opting for smartphones or laptops.
Kumar also claims that his talks with suppliers suggest that Galaxy Tab’s production has been cut down by a whopping 50 percent.
We certainly have our apprehensions on this claim but if this is true, Samsung’s target of selling more than 6 million Galaxy Tabs looks uncertain.
