Samsung seems to be retrofitting its existing mid-range devices with a faster processor. After the Galaxy Grand Neo, which is more or less a Galaxy Grand with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, another device has got a similar upgrade. Seen in China, it’s the Galaxy Mega Plus (I9152P) that carries the same hardware as the Galaxy Mega 5.8 except for a change in the processor.
The phone boasts a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and comes with the same 5.8-inch display with qHD (960×540) resolution, Dual-SIM support, 8MP camera with front-facing 1.9MP, microSD card slot, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 2600mAh battery.
Galaxy Mega Plus will also come with software enhancements like Multi Window, Popup Play, Group Play, Story Album, S Translator and more.
There’s no info if we’ll see the device outside China.
Thanks, Neil!
