Samsung has confirmed the commercial timeframe of its flexible displays in the Q3 2011 earnings call. Samsung expects to release the flexible display sometime next year, which could be in the earlier half. Samsung’s executive also said that the first device that will sport such a display could be a mobile handset which will then be expanded to tablets and other mobile devices.
