Samsung Developing 13MP Camera Sensors for Mobile Devices

Samsung is currently developing a 13 megapixel camera sensor for mobile phones and tablets, suggests Samsung’s website. Identified as S5K3L2, the sensor is currently development and will support a maximum resolution of 4208×3120 and back-side illumination for improved low light pictures.

As for its 12 megapixel sensor (S5K3L1) that was announced last year, it is now under mass production.
