China is where Samsung has consistently launched Android-powered clamshell devices. The latest one is SM-G9098 that has got the official acknowledgement, thanks to a listing on Samsung China website.
It’s a dual SIM device (TD-SCDMA + GSM) that boasts a faux leather and stitch design and comes with two 3.7-inch Super AMOLED displays, allowing users to use it as a full touch device with the external screen or a regular flip phone with the internal 3.7-inch display. Samsung has however, kept the resolution unchanged to WVGA (800×480), which is a bit disappointing because Samsung has upgraded the device in other departments.
The phone is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core processor – presumably Snapdragon 800, 2GB RAM, 13 megapixel and 2 megapixel cameras, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/GLONASS and 1900mAh battery.
The phone will sell in China with China Mobile.
