Apple amends lawsuit against Samsung, adds more devices to the complaint

June 17, 2011 By kunal 2 Comments

The courtroom battle between Apple and Samsung has escalated as Apple has amended the complaint against Samsung. To prove the copying claim and deny Samsung their hands on the upcoming iPhone and iPad devices as requested, Apple has carefully worded their complaint to clarify that the claim does not include future generations of iPhone and iPad.

The amended complaint has now added more devices to the lawsuit and if we look at it, Apple is targeting almost the complete Galaxy range.

The complaint now includes the Samsung Captivate, Continuum, Vibrant, Galaxy S 4G, Epic 4G, Indulge, Mesmerize, Showcase, Fascinate, Nexus S, Gem, Transform, Intercept, Acclaim smart phones, Galaxy Tab, Droid Charge, Exhibit 4G, Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Prevail, Galaxy S (i9000), Gravity, Infuse 4G, Nexus S 4G, Replenish, Sidekick, Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy S II.

Furthermore, Apple has removed and added some new patents in the lawsuit.
