Troomi is now selling the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G with Troomi OS, targeted at children, that pairs Samsung hardware with a purpose-built, kid-safe operating system.
Troomi OS replaces the standard Android experience and changes the overall experience to make it kid-friendly. The platform excludes social media apps and open app stores, and filters harmful images, texts, and content through AI. Parents access an approved app library through Troomi’s own app store, a Troomi Smart Browser for safer internet use, GPS location tools, SOS safety features, screen time management, and usage insights that can be managed through the Troomi Parent Portal.
The launch follows Troomi’s earlier Samsung-powered child-safe devices, including the Galaxy XCover7 Pro and Galaxy A16.
