Samsung evaluating ICS update for Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab

December 27, 2011 By kunal 1 Comment

The decision of not giving the Ice Cream Sandwich update to Galaxy S and 7-inch Galaxy Tab irked a lot of consumers and it seems the Korean giant did take a note of it. According to a report by AJNews, Samsung is reviewing the feasibility of the OS on both the devices without giving any specific details.

Samsung initially denied the Android 4.0 update to both the devices citing memory issues since both used Samsung customizations like the TouchWiz UI.

I am surprised they are offering this. Sprint tried to talk me out of the OTA for 2.3
