Samsung today announced that the ST550/ST500 dual view digital cameras have recorded sales of 300,000 units since it got official in August. In short, Samsung sold each unit in every four minutes which also gave them a 15% average monthly sales volume share in the compact camera market (priced around $300).
The 12.2MP ST550/ST500 features two screens – one on the front measuring 1.5-inch and at the back measuring 3.5-inch (ST550) and 3-inch (ST500). The cameras also feature 4.6x optical zoom, 720p HD video recording, image stabilization, face detection, blink detection and more.
