Galaxy S III Pebble Blue reportedly delayed [Update]

Galaxy S III

UPDATE: UK-based retailer Clove just updated the stock status of Galaxy S III and it seems the phone’s delayed in UK as well. The Marble White is expected to ship a couple of days late whereas the Pebble Blue is expected to arrive at their warehouse in first week of June.

Multiple reports from forums like Reddit and XDA-Developers suggest that consumers who had pre-ordered the Galaxy S III in Pebble Blue hue will have to wait a little longer. While the exact reason for the delay is unknown, Tweakers claims a defect in about 600,000 blue battery covers has led to the short delay.

Scandinavian countries are expected to get the Pebble Blue variant in late June whereas most countries will get by mid-June. India too, will receive the Pebble Blue Galaxy S III in second week of June.

Galaxy S III will be available in Marble White and Pebble Blue.
