FAA advises not to carry Galaxy Note7 on planes

Galaxy Note7

Not everything is going Samsung’s way at the moment. After a bunch of Australian airlines banning the use and charge of Galaxy Note7 in their aircraft, America’s official aviation body has released an advisory note for passengers using the Galaxy Note7. According to the agency, passengers are advised not to turn on or charge the device while boarding the aircraft or even stow it in the checked baggage.

This is a major blow for the Korean phone maker and most likely other aviation bodies will follow the suit considering how combustible the affected Galaxy Note7 is.

In Australia, Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Tiger Airways announced that passengers may not use or charge the Galaxy Note7 on board.
