The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) were supposed to go on sale last month in UK but it seems Samsung has delayed the launch of these tablets by few weeks. The tablets will start shipping in the United Kingdom by end of this month, according to a received got by PCWorld.
The reason for the delay is said to be the Android 4.0 update as Samsung is working to optimize the OS for the tablets.
Both Galaxy Tab 2s are spec’d similarly except for the display resolution and battery size which are WXGA and 7000mAh battery for 10.1-inch whereas WSVGA and 4000mAh battery for 7-inch.
Samsung will also release the Ice Cream Sandwich update for its other tablets like Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 7.7, Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1.
