Samsung confirms ATIV branding for Windows-based PCs, announces SideSync

A leak earlier this month seemingly confirmed Samsung’s intention to put Windows 8-based computers under the ATIV brand and now the Korean giant has announced the change. Starting from April 29, all Samsung Windows-based laptops will be identified under the ATIV Book series and All-in-one PCs as ATIV One. The series will be suffixed with a number similar to Series 5, Series 7, Series 9 etc.

Samsung has also announced a new feature that will be available across all Windows-based PCs. It’s termed as SideSync and will enable users to seamlessly switch from their PC to an Android-based Samsung smartphone and allow them to use the PC keyboard to respond to a text on a mobile phone; view photos and multimedia and lots more.
