Samsung introduces 960GB SSD for servers

SM843T SSD

Samsung has announced that they’re now supplying their new SSD – SM843T for use in enterprise servers and data centers. The SM83T offers a whopping 960GB of storage space and supports SATA 6.0 interface.

Samsung says the SM43T can help companies see a performance gain of 6 times while saving electricity by up to 30 percent compared to hard drives, offers data loss protection from power interruption and high endurance levels with up to 98,000 (sustained) random read IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second) and 20,000 sequential TBW (Terabytes Written).
