The speculation about a 12-inch tablet device from Samsung is quite strong. Now Korea Economic Daily chimes in saying that Samsung is “engaged in development of a 12-inch tablet PC”. The report is pretty light on other details but says the LCD panel will be produced by Samsung Display and will have a display resolution higher than full HD. We’ve been hearing similar rumours with the recent one from reliable leaker @evleaks who tweeted the apparent model numbers of the upcoming tablets.
If his tweet is correct, this tablet could go with the model number – SM-P900 and will have a display resolution 2560×1600 pixels and will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 5 Octa processor.
The newspaper claims the tablet will be released in October and given the timeline, we think IFA will be the place where Samsung could give us the first look.
