Upcoming Samsung Android 4.0 smartphone to run on Intel chip?

December 5, 2011 By kunal Leave a Comment

Samsung could be one of the first companies to come up with an Android-based smartphone powered by Intel Medfield chip. Android and Me who’ve heard from several sources claim that the phone could be launched on Sprint.

The rumor is interesting but not surprising since Samsung is known to experiment with different types of processors for their devices. They already have devices running on their own Exynos line of processors, Nvidia’s Tegra and even TI’s OMAP.

The device is expected to be unveiled at the CES next month.
