Samsung enhances web-based Samsung Apps with OTA installation

December 2, 2011 By kunal 1 Comment

Samsung sent an email to its developers that makes Samsung Apps on the web more useful than it was previously before. Samsung has launched a Web Download Service that allows users to check out the apps on the web browser and purchase it, which will then be transferred wirelessly to the target device. Pretty similar to how Android Market functions currently.

This service is available for all bada 2.0 and Android devices and is currently available in countries like UK, South Korea, Germany, France and Italy. More countries will be added soon.

Android apps will be installed automatically whereas bada OS users will have to initiate the installation by clicking on the Ticker.
