Prior to the beginning of the trial against Apple, the court denied Samsung to make an argument claiming iPhone was inspired by Sony concept. Now the same evidence referred to as the “excluded evidence” has been released by Samsung to the media, which has infuriated Judge Lucy Koh.
The evidence basically tells that iPhone’s design was inspired by Sony concept and Samsung didn’t really copy the iPhone’s design because devices with similar form factor were already in development, including the F700.
Judge has demanded Samsung’s lawyer John Quinn to know “who drafted the press release and who authorized it from the legal team.”
