Verizon Galaxy S III to receive Jelly Bean Upgrade from today

Galaxy S III for Verizon

 

Starting today, Galaxy S III users on Verizon Wireless will be able to upgrade their phone OS to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Verizon will be rolling out the update in phases, so it may take a few days before your phone notifies you about the impending update. A manual check for the OTA update will be possible by next week.

The OS upgrade will bring lots of features like Google Now, improved notifications, resizable widgets, global roaming support, Isis mobile wallet and lots more.
