Samsung dabbled with an Android-based point-and-shoot camera in the form of Galaxy Camera and now going by the recent trademark application, it seems Samsung wants to marry Android OS with some serious camera performance.
Samsung has applied for a “Galaxy NX” trademark at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) with Goods and Services marked as Digital cameras.
The trademark requires little explanation as Samsung markets its Galaxy range of devices with Android OS whereas ‘NX’ is Samsung’s series of mirrorless digital cameras.
