Galaxy Note III with LCD in the works?

There’s no doubt that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note III this year but according to Korean-site, ETNews, we might see Galaxy Note III sporting an IPS LCD screen. Apparently, Samsung is concurrently developing two Galaxy Note III devices – one with AMOLED display and another with IPS LCD because of the high demand of OLED panels and will sell both variants, depending on the market demand and conditions.

Samsung may purchase the panels from one of Japanese companies and it could be Sharp considering Samsung has a stake in the company.

The Galaxy Note III is expected to be announced at IFA in Germany in September and is rumoured with a 5.7-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with LTE-A support.
