Shelby TV has confirmed that they’ve been taken over by Samsung Electronics. The US-based company confirmed the takeover on their website without giving any details on the monetary compensation.
The company says they’re excited to develop new technology under Samsung and working with Samsung Electronics means they’ll “have the resources to start fresh, building products that change the way we watch and discover our favorite content, now and long into the future.”
While Shelby will wind up its operations gradually, existing users have until July 1 to export their favourites and shares.
